Our Technology

Our plastic recycling process is based on advanced microwave technology

Using a crossed-field device (magnetron), high-energy oscillations are propagated in the microwave frequency range of the electromagnetic spectrum (2.45 GHz).

Microwave propogation

Travelling at the speed of light, this electromagnetic energy penetrates the plastic in our reactor, interacts with carbon atoms to generate heat, and thermo-chemically decomposes polymers into a liquid of smaller hydrocarbon molecules (i.e. oil).

Our process is highly effective at breaking molecular bonds and producing oil

1
Step 1
Plastic waste is prepared and fed into the reactor
2
Step 2
In the reactor, plastic is converted into Pyrolysis Gas by applying microwave energy to break molecular bonds
3
Step 3
Pyrolysis Gas exits the reactor and is condensed to produce liquid Pyrolysis Oil
4
Step 4
Non-condensable Pyrolysis Gas could be collected and either used to power the process or sold as petrochemical feedstock.

Revolutionising waste management through microwave pyrolysis.
