Flux245 is a provider of next-generation pyrolysis technology, taking the plastics circular economy to new levels of efficiency
Our goal is to mitigate the global issues of plastic pollution, resource depletion, and climate change, through the chemical recycling of plastic waste.
In collaboration with strategic partnerships throughout the supply chain, we aim to convert waste that would otherwise be incinerated, into pyrolysis oil, to enable new plastics to be manufactured from recycled waste.
The lifecycle for most plastic conforms to a resource-inefficient, linear model
Huge quantities of platic are made, used and discarded. Globally, 90% of plastic waste is either mismanaged, incinerated, or sent to landfill sites.

1.79b tonnes of Greenhouse Gas are released every year during the plastic lifecycle.

The ultimate sustainable solution is to convert plastic waste back to raw materials from which new, virgin-quality plastic can be made

and is normally incinerated, releasing huge quantities of carbon into the atmosphere.
Flux245 Conversion
As an alternative to incineration, our process uses microwave pyrolysis to break molecular bonds in the plastic; capturing useful hydrocarbons to create a recycled liquid raw material – Pyrolysis Oil.
